The Girl with the Raspberry Tattoo

‌‌This is a very simple and easy-to-drink cocktail made using LFC's Raspberry Ginger and Orange Shrub.

It had been a while since I had been in the shoes of a bartender, and to top it all off, this task was thrust upon me. A woman whom I adored asked me to make a drink that I felt was fitting for her, and I had to prove my mettle. I sat thinking for a couple of minutes and looked up to see her eyes glaring into my soul, trying to figure out what was going on in my mind.

I knew she loved gin, but I also remembered how she had been roasting me the entire day. I knew it was whiskey I was pouring, no matter what. The flavors in this drink came together in harmony to bring out a taste you wouldn't want to get rid of - fruity, tart, and just sweet enough to hide the bitterness of the alcohol. The elegance of the drink is enough to distract you from the fact that, in fact, it is a really strong drink.
